THANK YOU!

Dear Tribe,

It’s done! Another challenging year…365 days of life lived. When we look back today, I sincerely hope our focus will be on what we must be grateful for.  We all faced good and evil and were sometimes hopeful and discouraged. We won some, and we lost some. I can say this because I know this is life’s essence. It is also why we are who we are—the reason we experience the power of strength in diversity.

I am very grateful for a year in which I received so much more than I expected. However, my gratitude lies within the boundaries of health, my beautiful family, the privilege of leading our Tribe, and the courage to stay consistent and determined amid many storms.

Gratitude plays a vital role in our mental health. I encourage you to take time daily to think about reasons to be grateful. We can change our lives by changing our minds. When we are thankful for even the most minor things, we experience joy and satisfaction. Unfortunately, we are sometimes wired to focus on everything that goes wrong and what we don’t have. This leads to a sense of frustration and unhappiness. It has the power even to cause depression and other mental conditions. It may seem small and insignificant to practice thankfulness, but gorgeous Tribe, it truly is a far better way of doing life than to complain and allow adverse circumstances to take charge over our direction.

As a leader, I have learned that I can only take my Tribe to greater heights when I am willing to sacrifice the indulgence of self-pity. I must change…continually. My capacity determines the volumes we can take on and finish excellently as a Tribe. Our management team must exercise gratitude, self-control, and determination to lead the way with integrity and by example. Thank you to all of you who do this daily. We all lead our environment by our actions and attitudes. A heart filled with gratitude is always a great home to success.

I wish you a great 2025, dear Tribe. Sometimes, we don’t have to do extraordinary things to be exceptional. We only have to show up. Be consistent, be on time, and do our part diligently.

Lots of love

Miskyah
